When I first started with Jack, I had never lifted weights before and saw the gym as an intimidating space. I approached it as something I had to do and would probably never enjoy.
Fast forward 8 months and I’ve fallen in love with lifting. That’s due in no small part to the quality of Jack’s coaching.
During each progressive step and milestone, Jack has expertly toed the line between supportive and attentive to my nervousness, and being firm and direct when my confidence wavered. Sticking points and struggles have been broken down, analysed and corrected, but PRs and successes have been just as enthusiastically celebrated.
I am now consistently lifting numbers that I used to think utterly impossible for me. The fear of adding more weight has turned into eagerness and pure excitement. I cannot thank Jack enough for giving me this confidence, and would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to begin (or accelerate) their journey to becoming stronger.

Jack's approach has been really flexible, helping me to work through a number of long term injuries that I thought would preclude me from being able to lift. His feedback is constructive, explaining the finer points of form to help not only lift efficiently, but safely, too. He's also great at providing motivation when natural plateaus happen, encouraging you to push through what at the time seem like unassailable barriers.
